A menstrual health project sought to address period stigma and shaming as well as provide sustainable ways for girls in deprived communities in the Upper West Region to manage their periods. Breaking Gender Stereotypes (Challenging Gender Roles)
As part of efforts to redistribute unpaid care work to reduce the burden of domestic work on women and girls to allow for their meaningful participation in education, work and other aspects of life, we launched this project. The first edition of the “Men cook to break gender stereotypes” took place at the Wa Naa palace and brought together 10 organizations (local NGOs, Government departments and corporates).

Her Reproductive Health
A Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) project for adolescents in Wa municipal. This project made use of both radio and in-person engagements to educate adolescent boys and girls on SRHR. The project encouraged adolescents to abstain from sex but also enlightened them on the types of contraceptives
