
My Period My Pride
A menstrual health project sought to address period stigma and shaming as well as provide sustainable ways for girls in deprived communities in the Upper West Region to manage their periods. The project reached out to 500 school girls (Junior High School) with reusable sanitary pads and education on menstrual hygiene. It also seeks to reach out to 500 school
After my parents threw me out of the house because of my pregnancy, I thought all hope was lost till LifeAgain discovered me and enrolled me onto a 3 years weaving course. They also mended my broken relationship with my family. I am now happy since I have something doing now and my family has accepted me.
